Welcome to Little Masters and Misses Nanny and Babysitting Agency which I established in 1985.
As Kent, Surrey and South London’s longest reigning Nanny Agency owner, I do understand that leaving children, particularly for the first time, can be stressful for parents.
At the heart of this caring Agency is concern for the happiness and safety of your children. That’s why we specialise in providing parents with an affordable and safe way to find the right Nanny or Babysitter to care for children in their own home.

We only introduce childcare qualified and/or experienced Nannies who we have interviewed for up to 2 hours and checked their CV career history by doing up to 5 telephone/written reference checks. You need only ask the Nannies, who tell us that this is extensive in comparison to other Agencies, who may only see them for 30 minutes.
We enjoy meeting Nannies and I have interviewed and today represent over 300 reliable and professional daily Nannies. we register new Nannies and full or part time jobs on a weekly basis and we aim to match the right Nanny with the right family within four weeks.
And that’s not the end of the good news – our fees are extremely competitive and represent excellent value for money – often being up to £1500 less than other agencies. Which is why we charge a £50 registration fee that’s valid for up to 12 months. Parents can re-register for FREE within that period whilst on average other websites will charge you £40 for 8 weeks job vacancy advertising.
We continue as a traditional Nanny Agency but also advertise job vacancies FREE on our Nanny Job’s web site section, which is regularly viewed by a wide and genuine Nanny audience.
Any person interested in a job vacancy telephones us to apply and if we have interviewed them we will forward their agency CV together with available interview dates. All our client then needs to do is to let us know if they want to book one of those dates to meet them.
If we email the CV of a Nanny who is subsequently offered a job then the final agency fees are as follows:
£150 for up to a 2 day post
£350 for a Nanny we introduce for a 3, 4 or 5 day post

Word of warning from the
Association of Nanny Agencies about finding Childcare on the Internet
“Choosing a nanny for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make. It can’t be done safely at the click of a button.
It may seem like a cheap and convenient way for busy parents to find childcare but often matches are made according to proximity of postcode between the parent and childcare provider.
There are no face-to-face meetings and often little or no checks are done to verify the childcare providers’ experience, qualifications, references or suitability for the families in question.”

• Our families have peace of mind as candidates meeting their children have already been agency met and checked.
• Making the process quicker both parties are more confident and can enjoy meeting.
• Persons not known to us can also apply but first will need to be Agency interviewed to ensure they can set children a reasonable example on grooming and spoken English.
• If we agree to represent a nanny it gives credibility to their CV and references to be genuine.

Ofsted Registration - NANNYTAX from Brighton recently visited me and we discussed the CRB Ofsted pitfalls. Did you know the CRB check is only done in the 1st year of a person’s registration? Despite you paying an annual fee, the CRB is not thereafter repeated. Neither does Ofsted interview or reference check registered persons therefore we and NannyTax advise Ofsted registration should NOT be considered as an character reference on their honesty.
Please remember that the editors of only advertising Childcare sites such as Gumtree or similar have not met or reference checked the people who advertise on their sites. While these sites are fine for buying second hand childcare equipment we support Ana’s view that they are not suitable for finding childcare in the home for your vulnerable children.
Parents have asked us to warn other families their children’s safety was compromised when they employed a pleasant but unchecked person met from well known childcare websites.
1. One person was naively or deliberately misleading on their CV about their baby experience resulting in them being given sole charge care and subsequently not coping with the responsibility.
2. Did not tell parents an agency after interview or reference checks refused to represent them or de-registered them. We know of genuine nannies who simply delete a past job from their CV where they left on bad terms and do not want to explain why even when not their fault. We retain records of past Employer minor and serious issues and we forewarn you to discuss with them.
3. A Doctor received 3 identical CVs claiming the same dates worked with same named family.
4. Several genuine nannies displayed their CV on the Internet then found out they were identity copied then used to in conjunction with fake referees as above.
5. We know of a Nanny that went to an 8pm interview, was let in by a man and woman who said they had no children but could offer them another career opportunity not childcare related.
Not fair on employers it is easy to over pay by not going through an Agency because on web sites pleasant person’s unchecked often over charge by an average £2 per hour or £20 per day some as much as £5000 annually a salary often not appropriate to their CV Nanny referees.
